Oracle: Heading East
Oracle’s President, Mark Hurd, is a pretty smart guy. He knows that when you’re introducing yourself into a new market it’s important to do it right.
Although Oracle has been doing business in China for many years, this was the first opportunity for Mark’s executive team to introduce themselves to a C-level audience of Chinese decision-makers. And naturally, every detail had to be perfect.
With involvement from Oracle’s HQ in Redwood Shores, our team in London and great on-the-ground support in China there were a lot of stakeholders. But that’s no problem for us: global is practically our middle name.
Prior to the event itself we needed to get everyone up to speed on the right message for the Chinese market. This meant working with the best brains from business and academia to put together a program that added real value to all participants.
Getting the technology right was the only option – and so we assembled the best in the business to ensure that a flawless multi-media presentation was created that included state-of-the-art audio-visual production, simultaneous translation and a high-speed upload of all presentation material.
With China on track to be the world’s biggest economy by 2020, it makes good business sense for Oracle to be taking its message there. Choosing us to partner with a pretty good idea too. But then, Mark Hurd is a pretty smart guy.
The personal touch is so important – we used technology to showcase Oracle, not the other way round.
Distance doesn’t matter – delivering to the highest standards is possible in any country when you have the right partner.
When you need to engage a senior audience – at home or abroad – we have the skills and experience to make it happen.
